Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Justice


Students enter a one-semester bridge program where they must achieve an overall
B average in the four prescribed courses, with no mark below C in any course.
Students who have successfully completed all four bridging courses will be
eligible for admission to the third year of this four-year Bachelor of Arts
(Honours) in Criminology and Justice degree program. Graduates of the following
Fleming programs will be considered for admission to this bridging program. Students would be required to complete 60 credit hours (or 20 half courses) in addition to the bridge to complete the degree requirements. Please follow this link to know more information about these credits.

  •   Community and Justice Services (formerly Correctional Worker) 
  •   Police Foundations 
  •   Law and Security Administration - Customs Administration 
  •   Law and Security Administration - Security and Risk Administration (formerly
      Fire, Safety and Security Management.


Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)


Graduates of all Fleming two and three-year diploma programs with a minimum
cumulative “A” average will be considered for admission to this bridging
program. Students enter a one-semester, five-course bridge program where they
must achieve an overall “B” average in the prescribed courses. Students who have
successfully completed all bridging courses may apply directly to the third year
of the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree program.

 

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Honours)

In this bridge RPN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Honours), Fleming Practical Nursing three-year diploma graduates must achieve at least a GPA of 2.7. Applicants must hold a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses Ontario (CNO). Qualified students will be conditionally accepted and must successfully complete both the Science Bridge and the Nursing Bridge with a grade of C (2.0) or higher prior to acceptance into the RPN to BScN degree program.

  • Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution:


BScN 120 credits including: (a) Transfer credit hours for completion of a Practical Nursing Diploma and current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Practical Nurse from the College of Nurses of Ontario. (b) Major requirements: 75 credit hours in core nursing courses (c) Elective requirements: 12 credit hours outside major at any level 2. Residency requirement: up to an additional 15 credit hours of advance standing may be granted based on a student?s previous university experience. Half the degree credits must be taken through UOIT. 

Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences (Honours) (BAHSc)

This agreement will award 57 credits to applicants who achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher (on a 4 pont scale).  Graduate must  hold at least a 2-year diploma in health field and a current license to practice from the relevant licensing body to advance their studies and receive an honours degree. It covers the following programs:

  • Health Information Management
  • Massage Therapy
  • Paramedic
  • Practical Nursing

The Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences is an honours degree in which students have the choice to take a breadth of courses in the comprehensive program or three possible specializations:

  • Health Administration
  • Health Information Management
  • Adult Education
